​After a three-year hiatus, Chicago’s own multi-hyphenate Ro Moore returns with Neon Brown, a 9-track project that feels like a late-night drive through the city—moody, introspective, and effortlessly cool. The EP, released this past Friday, explores themes of vulnerability and growth, weaving them through a mix of sultry melodies, hypnotic beats, and poignant lyricism. Whether you’re soaking in the lush production of “True Lies,” reflecting on regret in “Apologize,” or lost in the cinematic grandeur of “Designer Pain,” Neon Brown delivers a cohesive soundscape that feels both intimate and expansive.
