4way Joey hooks up with Flock for ‘Downers Grove’.

4way Joey has been teasing new music for some time now via Twitter.

Now, he’s on the track with Flock to bring ‘Downers Grove’. One of the first of many gems we are soon to get in the #FreeJoey series. The series is a project that 4way Joey has cooked up after he chose to deliver a spree of past and present joints.

It has two different perspectives. One being from the streets, and one losing love. Joey explains early in the track, that this dangerous life you choose will come back to get you. (Don’t tote that pipe fore’ it stares back at you). how life has consumed many friends and either left them dead or in jail leaving everyone in “Downers Grove” (feeling sad).

Flock (second verse) then goes into the fact that if he doesn’t change his ways, he’ll be all alone. Through fighting and frustration with his lady. The thought of it makes him sad that it’s a possibility he’ll lose someone that means the world to him and he’ll be back looking at options.
