The artist formerly known as Gotti drops a classic west coast summer album in The Wolf of Northeast
Don't get it twisted. Newly monikered MC Arogant isn't from the northeast. He grew up in the streets of northeast Portland in a time when it was riddled with crime, violence and drug abuse. Arogant had to find another outlet to express his frustrations, and found that in music.
Arogant started making music at a young age, and has pursued it ever since. He felt it was time to start things fresh by changing his name, and delivering his best project yet. The Wolf of Northeast drips in west coast synths and bass, unfortunately uncredited everywhere I look. Still, these are incredible instrumentals that give it the cohesive sound that he needed. Arogant is great at using his deep and gritty voice to speak honestly about his childhood experiences and the motivation it gave him. He has a keen ability to paint vivid pictures of significant moments in his life. Stream Wolf below.
