AWillThaGreat links with super producer Canis Major for a hauntingly beautiful new single Agony

It’s no coincidence that my now favorite AWillThaGreat song is produced by Canis Major. I’ve been singing his praises all over flowsfordays as he’s produced a bulk of the tracks featured on the site. AWill’s newest, Agony, is instantly my favorite song of the week. Both MC and beat smith bring their A game; making the impressive record one of the best collaborations this side of August 2017. 

Will is known for experimentation, and did just that with his beat selection. Canis’ instrumental is stirring, haunting, and tear jerking. The string heavy beat is the perfect match for Will’s moving lyrics, a plethora of dark stream of conscious thoughts that are in his head. I haven’t been so moved by a song in some time, and my only wish is that I can add this to my Apple Music sooner than later.
