Wednesday, July 7th iLLANOiZE returned with our first event since Kilt Karter hit the stage on January 23rd of 2020. With 375 people in attendance iLLANOiZE put on the best show of the year by far. Giving away free entry for the 1st-hour with the iLLANOiZE app along with free merch for a select few we were officially Back Outside. To kick off the night our host Pretty Riot and Illinois Jones opened the stage for some to deliver their best bars and setting the stage for our first performer. â€‹

Jaas CC: Heavy But Lite

Jaas instantly captured the attention of everyone in attendance with her melodic voice and heartfelt lyrics. The Chicago songstress delivered hit after hit as the crowd matched her energy singing along with her word for word. â€‹

Flashback to March 15, 2020, as we prepared for 3 Kings Live CoVid shut the entire city down but Wednesday night Richie Wes, Kid Breeze, and Joel Q all hit the stage together for the first time in over a year and they didn't disappoint. Opening with their classic intro off of their joint effort This for Anybody project and then touching on each of their solo efforts which set the stage for YK Supe and his Young Kings movement performing his hits blank, blank, and capping his night off with my personal favorite Fiesta.

After a brief intermission, it was time for OG Stevo to turn the party up another notch jumping in the crowd, standing on speakers, and heading the mic off to a fan to finish his verse. So trust me when I say lit is an understatement the Promontory was rocking. â€‹

As Flex prepared to bless the stage as a chant of Mobb began to take over the crowd as the anticipation grew for the Hunit Boy member to hit the stage. DJ Campaign Camo decided to drop "New Margiela's" by Boss Great and, although he wasn't in attendance, his presence was felt as Drama performed the entire song for the absent member and, finally it was time for flex to do his thing. Delivering his hits Basically, Issue, Without You and it was clear that iLLANOiZE had taken over the Promontory for one of the dopest nights of the year and, it was clear that we were BACK OUTSIDE.
