Hit-Boy and his father, Big Hit, recently made history with the release of the new album, "The Truth is in My Eyes." This father and son duo have created an illustrious body of work that adds another chapter to their legacy.
Hit-Boy, recognized well before the multiple Grammy wins and collaborations with icons like Jay-Z and Kanye on "Watch the Throne," as well as with Nas on "King's Disease" and "Magic," is widely acclaimed as one of the greatest producers of our generation. His father, Big Hit, entered the scene with determination after facing unjust incarceration, and together they have etched an iconic moment in hip-hop history. "The Truth is in My Eyes" is credited as Big Hit's solo album, executively produced by Hit-Boy. This release follows their summer 2023 project, "Surf or Drown Vol.2," featuring seventeen tracks and collaborations with artists such as Snoop Dogg, Benny the Butcher, Musiq Soulchild, and more. The album is available for purchase on Bandcamp, and keep an eye out, as it may soon hit all major DSPs. Spread the NOiZE and delve into the music of the father-son duo, Hit-Boy and Big Hit. Additionally, I had the opportunity to interview Big Hit earlier this year, where he discussed anticipated new music with his son. among other things with Chloe Cheyenne. Check out the interview shortly after exploring the album!
