Chicago DJ, Campaign Camo discussed how he started Dj’ing parties on campus at Western Illinois University during his early stages of his career.

“I started off doing the house parties with just software on my computer and then I bought some equipment and kept going crazy….”

Attending WIU, Campaign Camo made a name for himself on campus that followed him back to the city of Chicago. He explains that it’s more than just playing music but as a Dj you have to know certain things like the timing of the song you’re playing, the vibe of your audience, and the transitions of your mix and blends.

Campaign Camo is the official DJ for emerging artist Flex from 100Grand Gang and he’s always booked at some of the dopest events in Chicago. He also talked about his new project featuring more Chicago artists on the rise.
