Emperious Discuss Creative Direction Behind Music, Going Viral on TikTok, and More on iLLANOiZE Radio

Chicago artist, Emperious spoke about the creativity process when it comes to her music. She says she is the creative director for all her videos and even the engineering of her music. Being independent has taught her to be versatile with her skills at an early age.

“I’ve always been tech savvy since I was a kid…I have so many skills..I love visualizing and when you’re working on your own work you get to create the story how you like..once you indulge in it you’ll get better.”

Emperious spoke about directing and editing her video to her latest single “5 Years.” The video vividly displayed the awareness of suicide and the affects of being in love with an ex.

It didn’t take long for rap Queen, Emperious to dominate the TikTok scene. Her animated personality has led her to several viral videos in such a short amount of time. Emperious explains reaching her first million views on TikTok in only 3 months of using the app.

“I’m definitely one of the fastest growing influencers on TikTok right now and I just started using it consistently 3 months ago to promote my music and we just hit a million on our hashtag….”

Emperious continues to release singles as an emerging female artist and entertainer. Her goal is to bring “real” hip-hop back in an exciting manner that resembles her personality.
