The infamous 'Coach of the Year' Coach Tev drops off a new gem titled "the adventures on irving blvd."

Texas native Coach Tev has been making waves throughout the SoundCloud universe, and is adding more fuel to the fire with his new (and best) single yet, the adventures on irving blvd. Tev has always approached music in an unorthodox style - but to his advantage. I was surprised to get this submission as it was described as a storytelling record. I was unsure if Tev could pull it off, but he did, at least for me. 

Tev pays homage to his childhood roots in Irving, Texas, sharring stories dating back to 2010 including hitting the streets in his dad’s 1992 Acura Legend. He also shares the lessons his father deeply engraved into his subconscious.

The vocals and soundscape are hazy, melodic, filled with string looped samples. His flow is not for everyone, but try to read between the lines. There is great storytelling here, with a lot of heavy topics.
