At long last, Chicago artist D2X releases his debut album 'The Color Blue'.
Preparation, persistence, and connecting with supporters all led to D2X's anticipated release. After a workout-oriented promo and the 'Day Job' single, The Color Blue represents what D2X presented to us thus far. He comes from a basketball background, and he didn't fail to tie it in with the artwork. He gathers 13 tracks with a feature from artist/songwriter Ro Marsalis on the album ('Adult Swim'). Ro and GLOhan Beats executively produced the The Color Blue. Production from Quis, JXNoir, GLOhan Beats, Myquale, and more all housed great sound behind D2X's powering lyrics. A major jump from when I was first introduced to him through the project Enjoy Life, one that helped put him on the map. My favorite take away from the album is his noted code/flow switch throughout the tracks. The Color Blue's quality is set to keep the rising MC ringing. With tracks like 'Shine' , 'Picasso Blue/Thoughts from a Basquiat', and others, D2X's time is now. Spread the NOiZE and tap in with his debut below.
