Erikah Mona’ Discusses Receiving Her Masters Degree During the Pandemic on iLLANOiZE Radio

Media personality, Erikah Mona’ discussed walking across the stage during the pandemic. She received her Master’s Degree of Science in Professional Media Management from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale.

It was so different being a grad student on campus because there wasn’t a lot of students that looked like me….being alone taught me how to be a woman.

Even though Erikah experienced some tragedy during her time in school, she still managed to walk across the stage during the pandemic.

Erikah started hosting events in high school and went on to host a plethora of events during her college days. From hosting talents shows on SIUC campus to traveling to other schools, Erikah’s passion for event hosting landed her opportunities in the radio industry. She’s currently working on brining her radio show back on Chicago airwaves.
