French multi-instrumentalist FKJ and Queens rapper Bas delivered the smooth sound is their latest single 'Risk'.
“Always balancing his bravado with a relatable sense of humility,” (NPR) Bas continues to solidify himself as one of the most respected and authentic artists. 2019 —a whirlwind year for Bas— kicked off with Bas’ first ever African tour which was a lifelong dream that he spoke about at length with The Atlantic and documented in his music video for “Sanufa.” The Africa tour dates were sandwiched between a run of nearly 5o sold out shows across North America and Europe in support of Bas’ triumphant third studio album, Milky Way. The project was deemed “Bas’ strongest and most sonically ambitious album to date” (XXL) and the lead single, “Tribe” featuring J. Cole, earned Bas his first plaque when the track was certified Gold by the RIAA. Bas performed “Tribe” along with other standouts from the album in a recently released performance on NPR’s Tiny Desk. This single is FKJ's first announced from his upcoming Ylang Ylang EP. The two of them delivers an alternative sound through a guitar-laced orchestration. 'Risk' is now available for listeners on every streaming platform.
