Thank you Zach. It was still a catch by the way.
After six active seasons in the NFL, former Bears and Jaguars Tight End Zach Miller is calling it a career.
This comes after being sidelined for over a year after suffering a devastating left knee injury. After trying to catch a touchdown pass week 8 against the New Orleans Saints, Miller went down bad. Officials ruled his effort not a catch.
Miller's three years in Chicago was the best stretch of his career. He reeled in 101 receptions for 1167 yards and 11 touchdowns. The Bears re-signed Miller after his injury, but he was written off as PUP for the 2018-19 season. Miller is a class act guy who deserves to be apart of the new culture brewing in Chicago. He had to do the best thing for him at the time though. Miller was the recipient of the 2018 Ed Block Courage award.
Best of luck to Zach and all of his future endeavors.
