HATESONNY - The Sounds In My Head [EP]

HATESONNY delivers is anticipated debut solo project titled "The Sounds In My Head"

Midway through 2017, we started hearing more and more about this kid named HATESONNY, as the year progressed, we started to cover his music. With a style unique and certainly all his own, he is a star in the making. The last time we covered him was on his previous EP titled "Sonny & Friends" which featured his clique on most of the songs, today we go over his debut solo project!

The first track on the project titled "GOOD MORNING" is produced by WAR MANGA and is more of a slower paced song but IMO it is one of my favorites on the project. It's short and to the point, Sonny flows beautifully over the funky beat. Now we roll into the second track titled "I JUST" which is produced by DEAF. This beat is bouncy, almost something similar to a video game soundtrack, but Sonny delivers with strong bars and punchlines not to mention a catchy hook. The final production off the EP to wrap the project up is titled "SELF DESTRUCT" and features MARQUESISDEAD. The beat has a spooky feel to it, with both artists delivering strong verses.

The project did not disappoint at all in fact I highly recommend it as this kid will be getting more and more recognition in Chicago throughout the year.
