ILL Gordon - DOG (Official Video)

Ill Gordon is back with DOG, his 2nd video from his sophomore album Barzondeck

ILL Gordon is a beast, and he knows it. He's proven it throughout his career - most significantly on his sophomore album Barzondeck. The project is exactly how it sounds, but there is a unique aggressiveness that is hard to find in hip hop these days. 

Before the project he dropped 2 singles - the second being DOG. It happens to be my favorite track off the album, although there are many to choose from. DOG is ferocious - an attack on the whack rappers that can't hold a candle to his talent on the mic.

He is anything but - not only proven in this record but with his choice of producer (Reg Vader) and videographer (Justin Lewis.) The visual is creepy, creative, and an absolutely perfect depiction of the lyrics contained.  He chases his prey through the subterranean hallways, set upon the intent of torture and death. 

The actual song is incredible - I felt adrenaline coursing through my veins; perhaps an apt (and dark) sentiment for the song. Big thanks must be given to Reg, as his beat blew my god damn mind. Still - ILL is the star of the show - spitting clever, metaphorical rhymes. You might also notice his impressive flow. He even provides the catchy, highly likable chorus. I highly recommend giving Barzondeck a listen, which you can here.
