J.I.D has expressed his appreciation for those who've been waiting for the upcoming album. What he has in store is showing to be worth the wait. The last I covered of J.I.D was the track 'Ballads' featuring Griselda's Conway. On this one, J.I.D taps in to his capturing wordsmith ability to speak motivation and knowledge over a smooth instrumental by Christo.
'Skegee' is something I felt was inside the Atlanta heavy spitter. His subject matter was full across his three minutes of reign. J.I.D spoke on the Tuskegee experiment (hence the title), police brutality and more. This track is something that surely lets listeners know how he's coming for the upcoming body of work. Until then, give this new joint a spin.
