The highly anticipated motion picture Judas and the Black Messiah has finally arrived to theaters and HBO Max -- but it also came with a gift in the form of an audio offering. The movie details the life of the late Fred Hampton, who served as the leader of the Illinois Black Panther Party until he was assassinated in December 1969 by the FBI. The soundtrack of the same name served the movie justice as the records told stories within each and every bar.
Executive produced by none other than Hit-Boy, Judas and the Messiah: The Inspired Album is jam packed with records from Chicago artists Lil Durk, G Herbo, Polo G, Saba, Bump J, and BJ The Chicago Kid. Other features include H.E.R., Nas, Black Thought and many more. One of the album's highlights is the Jay-Z and Nipsey Hussle collab record "What It Feels Like."
The other executive producers that joined forces with Hit-Boy for this masterpiece are Dash Sherrod, Ryan Coogler, and Archie Davis. Check out the soundtrack below and don't forget to spread the NOiZE!
