By: BekoeWe recently released our Recap of Juice Wrld's impressive performance at Mcdonald's Beat Of My City tour Chicago, and now we're learning that Juice Wrld is under fire by a Pop Punk Emo band known as Yellowcard for melody similarities towards his juice’s Billboard charting record “Lucid Dreams” The group feel he used their single titled “Holly Wood Died” which released in 2006 to help format and create the rhythm for Juice's hit single. Recently British recording artist Sting sued Juice Wrld for 85% of royalties due to the sampling of his recording “Shape Of My Heart.” Which in all honesty is a legit case, but this new case Yellowcard has pending regarding song similarities is a bit different. With their being so many different songs in the world utilizing the same melodies especially in the Pop Punk Genre, I’d love to see how this 15 million dollar suit pans out, because if Yellowcard wins, more then likely the music industry will never be the same. Feel free to stream both singles below for your own comparison, and don't forget to spread the NOiZE.
