Kel James Speaks On Working With Stunna4Vegas, Queen Key, and More On iLLANOiZE Radio

Kel Jvmes is an artist from Chicago that wears many hats. Recording artist, engineer, and producing are just a few of Kel Jvmes’s talents. Music has always been his passion since childhood but he recently discovered a new passion with engineering during the pandemic.

“I always been presented with the opportunity but I always turn it down….it was like a hidden talent and I was running from it but I fell in love with it during quarantine…that’s when I started taking it serious to make extra money…”

Since Kel Jvmes has started engineering he’s had the opportunity to record notable artists like Stunna4Vegas, Queen Key, Katie Got Bandz, and more. He says that working at Enviyon Recording Studios has allowed him to network with dope artists all over the world.

“It’s so interesting because when you look at my page and see all those credentials…I got all those during the pandemic from rocking with other people…”

Aside from engineering, Kel Jvmes is dedicated to bringing positivity back to the Chicago music scene with his own music. He feels like the violence behind “Chicago Drill” has overshadowed real talent in the city. It’s no doubt that Kel Jvmes is the “Jack of All Trades.”
