The evolution of Lazo Schemes has truly been a spectacle to behold. From the first Scheme Tape to now it’s been a cultivation of vibes and styles in which we’ve never heard displayed in such a manner from a Chicago artist, and his latest EP is no different.

"Scheme Tape 2" is like no other project Lazo has released prior; the dark and heavily trap influenced energy of “Night Show” set the tone of the EP which was also complimented perfectly with fun songs like “Her Appointment” and “Reckless”. Yet, after listening to Lazo’s latest offering, one thing is clear and apparent from the accents of introspection on the last two songs “Slow Down” and “The Wanting,” that this is a story of a man who has not only loved but also lost.
