Manwolves have delivered yet again with their new upbeat single, "Shreddy Krueger."
Still riding the momentum from their dope "Sauce" video released earlier this year, the diverse Evanston band creates a progressive jam and continues to show that they have found their niche with meshing hip-hop, rock and jazz all in one.
Lead singer Jamie Mcnear opens the song with, "Can you imagine a million, I wanna build up a billion, I made a band with my siblings before I had any feelings," showing a level of truth in his lyrics along with displaying respectable rhyme pattern Mcnear has developed. Manwolves' layered instrumentation is also highlighted perfectly fitting jazzy horns with the melodic keys throughout the track. The line, "Making money now like a charity" will get stuck in your head as the catchy hooks draws the listener in. In addition to more scheduled performances within Chicago for the summer, the band will be taking their energy to perform at Llamapalooza at Colorado College in May. Peep the new single below.
