Matt Muse & MFnMelo link up for "On My Back."
"On My Back" is a firm stand out track from Matt Muse's debut EP The SiKK Tape, and this visual (Shot by Leo the Leo Visuals) further solidifies it as a beautiful ode to Chicago.
Matt viciously delivers his verses on the South Side in the Kenwood/Avalon Park neighborhood where he was born and raised, while Pivot Gang's MFnMelo holds it down for the West Side in his verse with strong bars and an emphatic presence. Matt & Melo both wear Chicago based fashion brands throughout and pay tribute to young Chicago authors, Donda's House, and the John Walt Foundation. These organizations have special significance to both artists and to Chicago's ever-expanding music and arts scene. The video is topped off with a dope footwork display and reference to the popular South and West side chicken shacks Harold's Chicken & Uncle Remus Chicken.
