Meek Mill's presence is strongly felt with his latest release.
Although 2018 hasn't been the best to Meek Mill has a definite reason to exalt. After being released following an unjust prison stint, Meek found himself embraced by a game that felt his absence. Not only was the Philly rapper blessed with a renewed sense of hunger, but he also found himself becoming a figurehead of sorts. Today, he does the game a huge deed by releasing his fourth studio album Championships.
The ample features speak to the unanimous respect Meek has been subject to of late. Championships finds Meek joining forces with Fabolous, Jay-Z, Rick Ross, Cardi B, Future, Young Thug, his once-nemesis Drake & more. In short, the album feels poised to go down as one of Meek's definitive works, if not his most purposeful. Not only is Meek back, he's applying some SERIOUS pressure with this one. Consider this the rebirth of Meek Mill, a well-earned victory lap, and a testament to his place in this game.
