After dropping his stellar new album Wins and Losses, Meek Mill gives us the official music video to "Price"
Meek Mill knows hip hop done changed, but he’s not about to. We are all aware of the Twitter situation from years back, but Meek has proved relentless, dropping his comeback album just last year. It was put together well, but there wasn’t much change in Meek’s rapping style, topic choice, or beat selection.
He seems to understand this critical response; fueling his newest LP Wins & Losses. Meek uses an entirely new formula on the project, proving he has a lot more to give to hip hop. Price, a stand out record on the album, takes it back to his Dreamchaser days, using a cinematic beat to explore his trapping days and reflect on his past few years.
Today we receive the official music video to the song. In the beginning we see Meek in a studio, sharing tidbits about his mental state in the past and present. He tells an unidentified person that he “forgot about the art.” Soon after he takes us through his city in a black and white perspective. Meek has taken his losses and turned them into wins, making the album title apt.
