LA's Mountos doesn't need company on his newest release I'm Not Lonely
I love when rappers treat their music like a journal entry, letting us into their mind and thoughts on the daily. I’m new to LA’s Mountos, but I’m very impressed me with his latest, I’m Not Lonely. The song is equal parts uplifting and raw.
He’s fed up with people who think they know him, and assume he’s lonely. Mountos assures us that he no longer needs a girlfriend to feel content. The focus seems to be on his family, and the positive people in his life. Mountos has been through a lot in just 17 years, and we get just a taste of it on I’m Not Lonely. I was so interested in his story that I went back and listened to his earlier records which you may feel compelled to do as well. He is one of the most honest and reflective rappers I’ve ever listened to - just peep his song titles (Since We Met, Move On, Thinking Too Much.) Baring all builds an organic fanbase, as I’m sure many can relate to his feelings and thoughts.
