NxG - Nofi (New Album)

Philly MC NxG doesn't disappoint in his official debut album Nofi.

Philly MC NxG has gone through many transformations in just the last year. He was a member of a duo that performed in various venues throughout Philadelphia, but has decided to focus on a solo career. In the last 6 months he's released a few loosies on SoundCloud that have since gathered 3K plays. Hip hop heads have been feeling his new work as he brings a totally new sound to the SoundCloud universe. 

It's no surprise that his official debut album is titled Nofi, as it is centered around lo-fi hip hop. But there's a twist, as NxG thrives on surprising his listeners. In Nofi, he takes his dichotomous love for lofi hip-hop and trap style bangers and marries the two. Mixing both sub-genres might seem impossible, but NxG executes it very well. The album is distributed by Reminessence Records, a indie platform out of Greece. This might sound like a poor decision on his part, but it's actually proved to be a great platform for him as they work with a host of artists around the world.
