Four tracks, zero features. All Shy.
Shy Riot comes through with his latest offering 'Don't Kill People'. A very encouraging offer from Shy, with a striking uptempo pace throughout this tape.
Don’t Kill People is a short collection of songs designed for cathartic efficiency with subdued aggression. Strip away the shrieking guitars, unrelenting 808s, and squealing soul samples and the lyrics read like stream of consciousness diary entries set to nursery rhyme melodies.
With this project, Shy Riot hopes the glimpses of hope and redemption encourage listeners to maintain a sense of logic in the face of fear and shame. Written mostly on CTA trains and buses, Don’t Kill People is 100% an individual effort down to the canvas painting by Shy Riot that serves as the project’s cover art. Four tracks, zero features, all Shy. Spread the NOiZE below, and get in tune with the upcoming Chicago artist.
