Spence Lee steadily rises with a strong 'Foundation', expressed sonically through new release

88rising/EarDrummer signee and emerging New Jersey artist Spence Lee drops his first offering for 2024 with a cinematic delivery.

'Foundation' expresses the rise as a musician with a grounded base that keeps him all in.  The visual to his latest track, shot by Jason Ano, was done in Saigon, Vietnam with the artwork from the single adding a tribute to his late grandmothers. 

I first discovered Spence Lee through his track 'On God', and shortly after, I received an invitation to cover his set as he opened up during MaSiWei's tour stop at the Bottom Lounge in late spring 2023.The show was full of energy, with Spence igniting the crowd through his electrifying performance before MaSiWei's amplifying headliner. 

"God and my family my foundation. I don't make any moves out of desperation."

​​With 'Foundation' following the release of other singles such as 'Spend My Days' and 'White Tee', Spence Lee is gearing up for the release of his upcoming album. The uptempo, new sounds coming from Spence glorifies his cultural background and his poise to continue to break through new speakers over the course of the year.
