Ok, so earlier this week J Cole dropped his new song titled 'Snow on the Bluff' where he details his own faults while seemingly attacking NoName for her outspokenness on black issues. Cole seems to feel like her message although correct can be delivered in a way that can teach and empower those who aren't as enlightened.
This I get but the confusion for me comes when woke twitter sinks their claws into the latest hot topic. Now yes Cole could have called NoName and speak personally to her but this was a message for all of our ears. Dialogue is important no matter if it's on wax, text, or verbally communicated privately. We all have a platform no matter how big or little, our voices and opinions can be heard but we also have to find an honest way to build from our communication instead of creating drama and fake beef between two grown adults. Remember nobody wins when the family feuds.............. Wow
Allow me to say it since I haven't heard First Take, NBA Gametime, ESPN or any other major sports platforms say how The Oura Smart ring could possible save lives outside of the NBA. We have frontline workers who go home to their loved ones after semi saving the world and for some reason they don't have access to this technology.
But we all know the NBA is only focused on their bottomline like most major cooperations but that's another story for another day. Song of the Week
If you had no idea who Dolla was before this song allow me to be your first introduction unfortunately he was killed May 18, 2009 in LA.
