Virgil Abloh - The Louis Vuitton Don

Ayyyyye Virgil Abloh!!! THIS CHICAGO *BLEEP*!!! (In my DJ Pharris Voice)

Step back and just look at the music industry and fashion industry. Chicago has had its thumb on both industries for a long time, just starting with Quincy Jones leading up to today with Virgil Abloh. Fashion and music goes hand to hand, you can't have one with out the other, its like a well mixed drink, you can't just get a 6pc from Harold's and not get the fries, with lemon-pepper, and mild sauce.

Chicago's very own Virgil Abloh is the bridge that connects music and fashion, he is the plug if need to get fly. Virgil has been grinding in the fashion industry since 2009 (I did my home work) him and Kanye west both interned at Fendi Roma, sounds crazy right! Kanye West interning, thats another story hopefully we can get that from them one day.

So after interning Virgil launched "Pyrex Vision," which produced the streetwear brand known as "Off-White." This was a pretty dope brand, its funny because, I had a few hoodies back in my trapping days. I didn't know the creator was from Chicago until now. Shortly after Virgil discontinued "Pyrex."

Virgil was also the graphic designer for Kanye West "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" which had some dope art work. He also did the graphic design for Jay-Z and Kanye "Watch The Throne" album, can't forget to mention that he was nominated for a grammy on the artwork.

Virgil was also the Creative Director for DONA (I don't know if he's going to keep that job, so DONA if ya'll Hiring come holla at me!)

Abloh also did artwork for other artists albums, as well as assisted Kanye West on his tour and fashion line.

Virgil Abloh is proof of "Hard Work and Dedication," he is a jack of many trades, the guy is even a DJ. He is a man of many hats and today we come to celebrate the level up Virgil Abloh career.
