Ting Papi delivers hazy adventure with new "You Should Come EP."
Coming off his 342AM EP from 2016, Ting Papi is back with his wavy You Should Come EP. Totaling 7 tracks, the EP is entirely written, produced, and mixed by Papi himself with one feature from Minnesota based emcee Johnny.
The highlights of the tape feature Papi's usual hazy trap beats as well as distinctive, almost robotic and inaudible lyrics. Ting's influences come from a modernized era of rap, where the 808s hit hard and the beats progress. The Minnesota born, Columbia based producer touches on falling for someone on the EP's intro "Feelings", as well as describes his feelings on the more upbeat "So Caught Up." Ting also does a great job showing off his beat progression in the 2 highlights of the EP, "Side Effects" and "If U Want 2." Check out the EP below.
